Goals

From Coast to Coast

The participation of eight canadian universities is one of the strengths of the TrUST program.

From coast to coast, we aim to bring together Canada’s ultrafast science community, from academia and industry. We believe that the collaborations encouraged by the program will be the perfect way for new ideas to emerge and flourish.

In TrUST courses, they will cover the following concepts:

Equity

Connect Students to the Industry

With mandatory industry internships, all of the graduate TrUST students will get to experience hands on the reality of working in a high-tech company.

This will be complementary to their academic training and will allow them to learn about the multiple career opportunities outside of academia.

These professional relationships will also be beneficial to our industrial partners, who will have access to highly qualified students for the duration of their internships.

5 Key Innovation Sectors of Canada

TrUST research projects will shape Canada’s five key innovation sectors using ultrafast science and technology.
